Relief from the Heat
Along with the rising costs, temperatures are rising to dangerous levels for some. ABCCM assists our elderly, individuals with medical conditions and families with children suffering from the summer heat.
The rising temperatures are being felt in our community by lower income families with children, those with medical condition and our frail elderly. Please help these families in crisis with an air conditioner or fan! Just $15 helps provide a fan and $100 provides an A/C window unit with 5000 btus. ABCCM Crisis Ministry with 4 locations in Buncombe County (and sister ministry, Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry) assist families and individuals in crisis with cooling assistance with air conditioners, fans and paying the electric bill or other utility payments.
